1. Holiday Port Festival:
This annual festival takes place at the Port of Bellingham and features local vendors, food, live entertainment, and even a visit from Santa Claus! The festival runs for three weekends in December and is a good way to get into the holiday spirit.
2. Fairhaven Winterfest:
This festival takes place in the historic Fairhaven district of Bellingham and includes a holiday arts and crafts market, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a tree-lighting ceremony. There are also plenty of one of a kind shops and restaurants to explore in the area.
3. Lynden Lighted Christmas Parade:
This festive event takes place in the charming town of Lynden and features a parade of brightly lit floats, marching bands, and Santa Claus. It’s a great way to kick off the holiday season.
4. Holiday Harbor Lights:
This festival takes place in Blaine and includes a festive light display along the waterfront, live music, food vendors, and a holiday market. There’s even an appearance by Santa Claus and his elves!
5. Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony:
This event takes place in downtown Bellingham and includes a festive tree-lighting ceremony, live music, hot cocoa, and cookies. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and kick off the season with friends and family.
